At American Airlines (AA) India Tech Hub, every employee holds a special place in our journey. We deeply value their contributions and see them as an integral part of the larger American Airlines family.

This sense of belonging extends to their families as well. They are the silent pillars of support who enable our people to grow, thrive, and bring their best to work every day. So, in recognition of their unflinching support behind the scenes, we organized the Family Day event.

Held at the vibrant Savaaya Convention last year, the event brought together over 650 team members and 80 children for an afternoon filled with warmth, celebration, and shared joy.

Celebrating Traditions & Talent
The celebration began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, welcoming employees and their families. The event came alive with the enthralling classical performances by our employees, drawing thunderous cheers from the crowd. It stood as a testament to the talented team that we have at AA, who excel in everything that they put their heart and mind too.

At the Helm of Affairs
Our leadership also graced the stage to share the words of reflections and gratitude. Chandra Vijjhala, President, American Airlines Technology Hub, delivered a heartfelt message on the journey and spirit that define AA team. Misty Shafer, Vice President, Commercial Technology, expressed her appreciation for both employees and their families, reminding us that it is the people behind the work who truly make a difference.

A Moment of Connection
As the event drew to a close and the curtains fell, we opened the floor for families to connect, celebrate, and bond, creating moments of togetherness that are fondly etched in our hearts.

Here’s to more such moments that embody the culture we try to create and build.
