Women in Tech Survey 2025 Report: Progress Made, Though Challenges Remain

Jump to

The second edition of our annual Women in Tech survey 2025, highlights both progress and persistent challenges in the industry as compared to the findings from a year ago.

Last year, women in technology spoke up and their voices seemed to be having an impact on how corporations in India are shaping their policy and more importantly taking action.

There’s good news for sure. But we need more of it.

On the positive side, diversity efforts are gaining momentum, with fewer women perceiving them as symbolic.

AI adoption among women has also surged, reflecting growing confidence in emerging technologies.

Workplace safety remains a strong pillar, reinforcing an inclusive environment.

However, hurdles like pay disparity, slow career advancement, and the lack of mentorship continue to hold women back. Despite progress, leadership opportunities remain limited, signaling the need for deeper systemic changes.

The report makes it clear—while strides have been made, true equity requires action beyond policies. It’s time for organizations to turn intent into impact.
